With out changing the wiring, no. You would have to clip one leg of
the diodes, or else the solenoid fuse on your Hot Shot will blow.
Also, the resistance of the coils used in a GTB SS are approx. twice
the value of what should be in a GTB EM. I'm not certain if the coils
would be too weak or not.
