I'm not looking forward to removing the underside, I guess I could build
some kind of protective box to place it in for transport and working. In
the long run this would probably save a lot of time.

Wing,
Learn to Clearcoat it yourself or have it cleared locally, you don't
have to remove everything from the bottom to clear the top of the
PF... Just mask the holes and run a curtain around the side... takes
10 minutes... Removing the bottom of the PF takes much longer then the
top... You're not going to clearcoat the bottom...

I don't understand... If you're going to clear it yourself, why do you
need to ship it? Touch ups aren't that hard... Just buy a couple of
good quality brushes at Michaels... Brush's aren't bad, Hey that's
what DeVinci used on the Mona Lisa... Picasso, Rembrandt etc. with
this one caveat... If you're going to touch up large areas of a solid
color... Go with an airbrush... If you're going to be clearing your
own PF's you're going to need to develop some ancillary skills as
well... If you're going to all the trouble of shipping the PF just for
artwork.... Might as well let them clear it while it's there... Of
course You'd still be looking at a considerable wait...
