This may not be much help, but I had a similar issue after recapping boards
in the back box.

My problem was with the display only, but I wasn't getting any voltage from
the 190v portion of the power supply.

Turned out to be a fuse connection on the powerboard/rectifier that was
dirty.

Hey everyone.

Just done rebuilding playfield of a bally eight ball champ. Gorgeous.

Plugged everything back up and fired it off. Ehrm..

nothing on the backboard. No displays, not even the regular lights. on
power on the "match" light comes up for a moment, but thatsit.

Not getting 190v on the 6803 powerboard. Found two resistors fried and
replaced 'm. to no avail. fries 'm again pretty much immediately. no
output on j6 at all..

Am considering rebuilding the entire high voltage section, but kinda
want to find out if that would be a waste of time.. especially
considering the regular displaylights dont come on neither. Yes. I
checked fuses..

CPU and soundboard work fine. Playfield seems allright with the
exception of some odd and ends. to be expected after rebuild I guess..

Could this be a ground? short? what am I looking for? the whole thing
worked fine before I pulled the playfield?

Any Ideas form ow ye mighty pinballwizards would be more than
appreciated.
