Hi Group,
I know this group has alot of high tech brain powers so what is a good
camera set up. Perfer color, decent resolution, motion activated
recording and lights, Windows PC run DVR/controll, 6+ outdoor cameras,
and flexiblility for expansion along the way. Need not be wireless. Is
there such thing as a long "telephoto" camera for these things?
Any such thing as a decent "used" set up when people upgrade?
Thanks, Karl.

Hey Karl,

Here's an excellent resource for CCTV info:

Definitely a "speed costs money, how fast do you want to go" type of
thing, tons of options and flexibility depending on what you want. In
general the consensus seems to be that package systems from the
warehouse stores are about as low quality as you can get. Personally
I think depending on your situation they may work fine and is good
value for the dollar.
