Whats the best way to clean the gold/brass colored legs on JD?
I would think scrubbing bubbles would be good followed by a coat of
wax...

Is that verified Tom? I dont want to chance removing the finish.
Never mind don't listen to me, I do this far too often. I throw
suggestions around without thinking about it! Doh!
I can't verify that, I do remember someone saying that it works well
though but they could have been full of crap too! :)
I would think it would be safe but don't really know. Maybe someone
who really knows will chime in!
As someone else said what's on there? Just general dirt or is it
corroded or rusted at all? Any of the coating coming loose? Then it
may be hard to clean anyway.
I would think a mild detergent would be ok as long as you wipe it down
with a damp cloth after to remove the cleaner and I think a coat of
wax would shine it up and protect it as well.
If you don't get any straight answers on this you could try on a small
area and see how it comes out but I don't wan't you to go and ruin
them either so let's see if anyone can verify the best method...
Sorry if I really didn't mean to steer you wrong on this one!
Tom
