This has been debated before but I was wondering about the massive
appeal?
With Jack so close to pulling of the seemingly impossible (somehow
getting Stern to fire up the production line again); what is it?
a. Best theme ever; we're a collective group of D&D geeks and played
"Adventure" in the first text based Vax machines in college?
b. Perfect integration of theme, sound, graphics, playfield fun, etc.
Deep rule set and modes, just an all around tremendous machine.
c. Many of us liked it but it was always beat to hell on location and
the chance to buy one is a Golden opportunity that we'll mortgage our
home for it!
How would you compare SpiderMan to LOTR as far as keeping your
interest, etc.
LOTR and me: I played it twice and both times the machine was
broken. Don't know Jack (no pun intended) about the movie, never read
Tolken (if that's his name). I'm not a big fan of plastic goblins,
etc. But IF I were to win Lotto tomorrow is this a once in a lifetime
opportunity that any red blooded Pinhead should not pass up?
Hated it when it came out, due to software. After the software got a lot better and someone explained what you're really doing, liked it a lot better.
Best ever? Maybe best modern era stern.
Hate the theme, didn't see the movies, refuse to read the books. I hate Fantasy I like SciFi (why do they always put these genres together in the bookstore?)
Personally if I win the lottery there'd be lots of machines I'd buy that I'm Lukewarm about!!
