everytime i touch my getaway and spidey at the same time i getIf you are not comfortable using a meter around 110 Volt AC, skip step
zapped.. how do i locate the source of this problem. jeez, that hurts!
1.
1. Check that the ground in the outlet(s) you are using are good- buy
an outlet tester at the home center or use a multimeter. If you don't
know how to use a multimeter safely around 110 volts, go buy the
tester, they are cheap. With a meter, check for continuity from the
round ground hole to a cold water pipe, or check for 110 volts AC from
the Hot (smaller prong opening) to the ground (round hole).
2. If the outlet(s) are good, unplug games and check that the games
both have three prong plugs.
3. If the ground prong is present on both plugs, unplug games and use
the continuity check on the meter to be sure that there is continuity
from the round prong to the side rails and lock down bar of the game
you are checking. If no continuity, replace plug and try again. If
this does not do it, the break in the ground path could be inside the
game.

great advice.. thanks much everyone..
i opened up the power cord from the getaway, and turns out the ground
wire came loose from the pin..
but now i removed all three wires and didn't take note of which went
to which pin. guess it's not my day.
i know the brown is the ground, then i have a blue, and a green/
yellow..
if looking directly face to face at the plug, i believe the green/
yellow goes to the right pin, and blue to the left..
if anyone feels differently please advise!!!
You have a European color code cord. Blue is neutral, Brown is hot, and
yellow/green is ground.

Or he has owned/worked on a German car. Brown is ground, brown is
ground. In the wiring harness anyway. Per SAE standards in North
America, the ground strap to the battery (if not ad uninsulated braid)
has to be black.
