Look at the circuit board type thing on the offending score reel(s).
These are what tell the machine what number it's on...

That all looks good ... no broken wires - connector pins are secure

There is generally a switch on the 1000 point relay in this circuit as
well, so the credit is awarded as the 1000 point reel advances to the
winning value.

On a multi-player game, if none of the players score replays, it's
more likely that this switch is the problem than the circuit boards on
the reels. If one or more players can score replays, then check the
boards on those that can't.
