It might be better to find a Solenoid Expander board out of an old Bally. It
was designed to power/control coils from a lamp signal.

I am trying to add a mod to a couple of my games. I want a feature
light to control a switch that supplies *another* power source to the
item of my choice.
I want to control a relay by way a feature lamp. When the feature lamp
comes on, the realy would energize closing a switch that would power a
device with it's own power supply.
I see GPE has this relay:
Product ID: W37-6V-RELAY
Relay, 6VDC, 5 Amp, 4PDT
Relay, 4PDT, 6 Volt, 5 Amp
Socket mounted, includes socket and hold down clamp
Relay: Omron MY4-DC6
Socket: PY14-02
Clamp: Omron PYC-P
Replacement for 6 volt Williams System 3-7 flipper relay.
My question is will this work or will I end up screwing up the
transistor controlling the feature lamp/relay?
A better way? Another realy?
Newer Stern game , but might like to try on a WPC. Also have need to
do this on a System 80 game.
Thanks for any help
Brad
