Quick Draw fuse blower

First pin! Quick Draw... first problem: motor would run cont. until I
found a switch on top score real that wasn't making contact, corrected
alignment and machine played okay until a few more adjustments and
then started playing perfectly. It seemed the more it was played the
better it ran..I played the crap out of it until I broke the first
target. So while I'm waiting for the epoxy to dry the following day, I
had the play field and back glass lights on when suddenly the play
field lights went out and I smelled smoke; I lifted play field and saw
nothing that looked burnt.same with the back box. The following day I
checked the fuse on play board and it was blown(it had a 15 and holder
said 10?) replaced with another 15 amp and game fired right up (big
smoke smell for a blown 15 amp fuse?) and then machine started the
start up sequence and at the very end of the sequence the 25 volt 10
amp fuse (that had another 15 amp installed) goes just as the score
real almost clears... something is shorted or stuck closed? cause
every time I replace a fuse it blows. I'm stoked on being able to
visually check machine for obvious abnormalities, however I'm gonna
need help testing for this short? I'm a newbie but restore old cars
and can build engines etc, however electricity is not a strength....
until NOW! I read about using a #44 bulb to use as a test on the 25
volt 10 amp block and wiggle everything until it dims etc.?
Thank you for any help!
