If you've "sparked something" and took out a couple of fuses, you've likely
got many more problems than you had.

I'd guess you've taken out the drive transistor and at least a switch matrix
row or column. Put the game into switch test and refer to the switch matrix
chart in the manual to see if you've got a stuck or non-responsive row or
column of switches now.

The online schematic from IPDB is pretty sparse. I'm not equpiied to
know which diode is which by looking at them. I rely on the
schematics. There's two things attatched to those switches (under the
thumper). The one larger looking black diode looking thing, for the
coil I assume, and a yellowish resistor looking thing(with a few
colored stripes on it) for the scoring switch. The yellow object has
come unattatched and lookes rather haggared anyways. I'm getting a
stuck thumper coil after funbling around down there trying to get the
switches to register. They would play but not score. I sparked
something and had to go replacing 2 fuses. But then I turn the game on
or try and go into diagnostics and the center thumper is now locked. I
can ground the transistor and it'll come on and not lock. I think
either the yellow object or the other diode looking object is to
blame. What the heck are they?

Sigh...I already replaced the fuses. I already isolated the
problem...I already explained that now when starting or going into
diagnostics the bumper pulls and is stuck so obviously recommending
test mode doesnt make any sense. Even if I could put it into
diagnostics the swith test doesnt go through each row or column as a
whole in this game. Just goes through each individual switch while
telling you what row or columnits associated with. Also, I tested the
transistor (Q9)and pre transistor and they test fine. Just need the
diode info as the manual doesnt get that specific for Robocop. I know
all about the transistors ands which ones they are for which special
coil...or any other flasher or coil for that matter.. which is why I
included the information about grounding the transistor and seeing the
thumper go on AND off normally.
SOOO, once again, anyone have the diode info for the thumper for this
thing?

It's not the diode that's the problem. The special solenoids are activated 2 ways - one way by the game when in diagnostics and another way by the game when in gameplay.

They do have something in common though - when you start a game does the thumper lock on also? (probably, I'm guessing)

There's a 74xx chip in the circuit that is only active when the game lets it be active - and if that chip is blown out, it doesn't matter how many times you test the pre-driver and driver transistor, they're good, it's the chip that's bad (and possibly chips behind that).

The yellow thing is in all likelihood a capacitor to give the solenoid the needed pulse length for a full pull (i.e. length the pull). It's not strictly needed for what you're fixing.

Finally, grounding the transistor doesn't test it. Just tests the power path.
