Re: TECH: Stern Hot Hand Issues

The right sling blows the fuse as soon as game is turned on. I
replaced the diode on the coil, and no change. I disconnected the
yellow wires and of course the fuse doesn't blow now. The transistor
on the SDB tests the same as all the others on the board so I didn't
replace it.

In solenoid test, only the kickout, left sling, and the outhole fire.
All transistors test good.

As soon as I turn on the game, the big flipper starts turning, even
while the board is booting.

Over half of the feature lights are not working. New bulbs in whole
game.

I have upgraded the rectifier board. I have replaced both big caps and
replaced both connectors and headers on J3 of the SDB. I get proper
voltages on the test points on both boards.

Running an Ultimate MPU.

Jason,

Any chance the diode was facing in the wrong direction to begin
with? Could you specify which fuse is blowing.
