PBR has a spoon that can be modified to work (the holes are too small on theirs you have to make them bigger)
Or are we talking the whole stack? I've used lots of different types of leaf switches to refurb these - fliptronics switches, stuff I've had laying around from parts machines.
Like you said you can fix what's there usually as long as someone hasn't filed the contacts - those I just build new blades for with parts from PBR. The parts were super cheap last time I bought them, enough to rebuild 10-15 switches for a couple bucks.
