All,
I had some parts shipped to me via the USPS priority mail. They surely
never got into my hands.
The shipper says they were delivered, The tracking number says
delivered.
The USPS says they were delivered and "Most likely, probably were
stolen"
of course the stuff wasn't insured...
What would you do?
Thanks,
Bob
File out a missing mail form with the USPS. They won't do it until at
least 30 days after the item shipped normally, but with a tracking
number showing delivered already they might. The problem with USPS
tracking is that the carrier scans it whenever he wants, no one signs
and there is no proof the person actually got the item. I would have
the post office talk to the carrier to see if he remembers delivering
it. That can and has helped me in the past. At least he I have also
had it where they delivered it to the wrong house as the tracking
number only shows it went to a zip code, not a specific address.
