Hi Ben- No, your FD1094 is still good, so far. When it dies you get no
sound and static colors on the screen. More likely you have a monitor
power problem. Does the neck heater glow orange? Can you hear the
typical monitor squeal on power up and the static electricity crackle?
If so the monitor is probably ok but you have lost the synch signal. The
harness going from the game boards to the monitor chassis carries the
synch signal as well as the RGB, red, green, blue and ground. Check that
first. If no hiss, crackle or squeal or neck glow then you have a
monitor power problem and it could be a blown fuse on the chassis or
simply an unplugged cable. If the on board fuse is blown you likely have
a shorted HOT, horizontal output transistor. If thats the case you need
to go over the whole chassis or buy a new monitor. Hope that helps!

Thanks, I just bought a capacitor kit for the monitor board, and
hopefully it might solve my problem, otherwise??
