Whoa, wait a minute Steve. Tell everybody why you choose to buy a
Centigrade 37.
Don’t be ashamed to go into great detail or mention my boyish good
looks :)

First sir/madam, introduce yourself.
We'll call you Steve for now.
Second, put away the 60 grit sandpaper. Too harsh. Get a flexstone
file. Order some from Pinball Resource while you are ordering a
schematic, some #47 bulbs to protect that backglass, a contact
adjustment tool, a new pinball, rubber, and assorted other items.
Third...
Does the "Hole Relay", V, energize when you close the hole switch?
If not, check a normally closed switch on the G relay (yellow-black,
white/orange wires). Ensure it is clean and adjusted closed when the
relay is at rest.
If that doesn't git-er-dun (sorry Cliffy), next check the normally
open switches on V. One of them (blue-red/green-red) fires the hole
kicker. That switch is in series with motor 4C switch (blue-red/red-
white).
That should get you going. Happy to help...

Kick out hole at top right of playfield will not work - I am stumped.
I have checked the following:
Switch underneath - Sanded contacts w/ 60 grit and alcohol. Checked /
established continuity when closed. Made sure contacts are actually
closing when ball enters hole. Checked, disassembled and cleaned
linkage for solenoid / kicker. Checked solenoid for continuity -
Established. Have removed, & cleaned contacts and reseated both multi
pin connectors going to main board inside body of machine and done the
same for all 5 multi pin connectors inside the head. My game is way
above average clean inside, and everything else seems to be working,
including red light that comes on when you advance enough targets
(ABCD, &/or the drop targets and/or the "Thermometer" in the
backglass) All work to advance and turn on the red score light for the
kick-out hole... but that's it - No kickout or solenoid activation at
all. Any ideas much appreaciated... Maybe it is a switch on the score
wheel, but I do not have a schematic.- Hide quoted text -

Thanks Chris, Al, - I will pursue your specific suggestions. 60 Grit
was a typo, meant 600 - Cut into small strips.
Apologies for not introducing myself - Steve Haemmerlein here, from
Longmont Colorado. Have been collecting for a couple years, 12 Pins
total - Never had any trouble before that I was not able to find info
for in the archives. Kim Mitchell suggested I post here...and yes,
Kim I'd like to borrow the schematic, will touch base tomorrow.
As to pressing down / activating the relay labeled "V - Hole relay" -
already tried that - It activates / advances the score wheel, but not
the solenoid. - Had not thought to check anything on the G relay -
Thanks for the suggestion
As stated, I will also check into the other ideas and report back -
May not be until tomorrow - Morning comes early.
Thanks, Steve- Hide quoted text -
