I need to replace a couple of the .05 mfd ceramic capacitors on my
Silverball Mania. The ones that go on the playfield switches.
I've got a bunch of small ceramic capacitors in my parts bin, or at
least I think they are capacitors. None of them have an "M" printed
on them... just a single digit, like 1 or 7, or a sequence of numbers,
like 10 or 15 or 68. Do those digits relate to the mfd of the
capacitor... or are these things likely something other than
capacitors?

Rick...I use .1 uf caps on these switches. They work just fine. I've
used them on Silverball Mania and Eight Ball. Very important to have
the caps on the loop shot switches on SBM. I got mine from
Ed...here's a link...http://www.greatplainselectronics.com/proddetail.asp?prod=CCAG%2D0%2E...
I have a few I can send you...let me know. John
the "N" targer in the middle in front of the loop needs one especially
too or it will score very intermittently...
