Other than this game is working fine.

If the correct # of balls are installed, may have a problem between the MPU and
driver board on the 40 pin interconnect that isn't quite serious enough to be
causing other issues, or, more likely, an MPU blanking problem.  The very first
thing I'd do at this point is check the solenoid fuse on thepowersupply and be
sure it's the correct rating and has not been bypassed.  Are you sure there
aren't other solenoids firing, too?

OK. Checked the solenoid fuse and it was wrong - replaced the 7 amp
fuse wiith the correct 2.5 amp slo-blo.

On listening closer I noticed another solenoid firing - the bell. When
the machine is powered up the ball is still kicked out, the bell rings
and there is a loud hum for a second. Press button for a game and the
fuse blows after the ball enters the top of the playfield. Replaced
the fuse a few times with the same result.

Replaced the fuse with a 5 amp slo-blo and still get the same ball
kicked out, bell rings and loud hum for a second. But the game plays
without blowing the fuse. I know its not a good thing to leave that 5
amp slo-blo in place of the 2.5 amp slo-blo.

Checked the switches on the pop bumper and slingshots - gapped fine.
Checked the ohm reading of every coil in the game. Most measured
greater than 2.5 ohm. Noticed the coin door coil had no reading at
all... so should I clip the wires and see if this fixes my problems?
