Just an update on my pinball on location. I posted awhile ago that I
was going to run an old Bally Lost World on location at a bar I was
working at. I had good luck with the machine with just minor
breakdowns, coins mechs, bulbs and one bad coil. Was taking $20-$50
most weeks with a one week high of $120 and low of $7.50. I thought
that I may switch it out with another game just to see what may
happen. I had the Lost World in for about 4 months and profits started
to slow down. The problem was I only had a Williams Phoenix ready to
go at the time. So I made the switch, what a mistake! They hated the
machine, after 2 weeks they did not even turn it on. Today I pulled
the Phoenix and installed a very nice Highspeed. Hopefully we will
see a difference. Anyone vending just one machine at one location?

I put an Eight Ball Champ in a pizza place's game room 3 months ago.
There are 7 vids there and only 1 pin. My take paid for the game in
the first month, but I didn't pay much for it to begin with. Both the
owner and myself are happy with the results so far.

I am thinking of getting more to vend. Seems older people remember
playing the classic stuff and are more willing to play a game they
remember or can understand vs. some on the newer stuff. You can still
get a lot of classics under a $1,000 and if they work fine why not
vend them. Anyone vending older games?
