If you sand most of the coats off you can do more, and it will help.
I spot leveled on my dragonfist first the inserts that were cupped
badly. Be very careful you don't get a 'puddle' outside the insert,
it makes a mess that can be seen even in the finish clear, after
sanding it off, at the correct angle.

I used the varathane itself to do the spot leveling, dribbled into the
insert from a small straw (from the canned air can) I imagine the
pipettes work a lot better though.
