Hello,
I hope someone knows and can tell me how to resolve a strange issue I
have with a WG 9200 monitor that I just got today.
The ISSUE:
The screens seems to be turned counter clockwise about 5-10 degrees
off. LIke someone took the picture and turned it counter clockwise.
Is there a setting that I am not seeing that will adjust the rotation
of the picture???? I have tried adjusting the Vertical, Horizontal,
Pin Cushion and Trapezoid and cannot seem to get it in.
Any thoughts, PLEASE?
On the neck of the monitor you'll see some rings. You need to move
those slightly until the picture is centered.
It does not sound like a convergence issue, so I would not be turning
"some rings" it sounds more like the yoke itself got shifted- Hide quoted text -

After checking the Wells web site, looks like there is a raster
rotation adjustment on the monitor chasis, would try that first.
Check out the web site and go to service and support and check out the
pdf for Board Layout w/ connections and controls for your model. I
should have checked the specifics on the monitor before my earlier
post (turning the yoke will still fix your problem - just dont muck
with convergence rings, unless you mark them first and understand the
basics of adjusting them. It can be very frustrating to adjust those)- Hide quoted text -

Well done Bubba, the other people gave bad info, very typical. Taking
advice that is not correct could make problems worse. The first 2
people that answered don't know what they are talking about. On this
monitor, there is a pot for adjusting the picture rotation, much
easier than rotating the yoke and messing up the convergence.

Good thing I decided to wait until this morning to screw with it... If
I would have adjusted the yolk, I would have screwed something up!
Thank you guys! It looks great now!
Absolutely right. I have seen a yoke get loose before only once. Never
adjust the rings on the neck unless you know how to. There is a
potentiometer on the chassis that rotates the picture orientation.
I've had to adjust this on 2 9200's so far.
