Unfortunately, I can assure you that this problem has nothing to do
with power supply loading. I'm going to have to put this one on hold
for a while because I start a new job tomorrow and that needs to take

Cliffy: I appreciate the offer. I may come over to your place this
weekend to compare a few test points since both games use the same
boardset. You don't by chance have a scope, do you? Maybe I'm
thinking too deep, but I have a feeling I'm going to have to compare
waveforms on the buses.
I think you should check grounding as MOSFETs will not switch properly
in cases where there are multiple grounds with differing potentials.
