Re: How to remove a pop (jet" bumper from a CV?

Power off. Unsolder wires, pull the socket up and out. Two 5/16" nuts hold
the metal rods to the fiberboard/metal plunger holder parts, three 5/16"
nuts hold the coil bracket to the playfield. Two phillips head machine
screws hold the coil to the bracket. Not hard, a little time consuming. LTG

One of the pop (jet) bumpers on my Cirqus Voltaire is totally trashed
below the playfield. The coil is dead and the part with the two metal
rods is broke. I ordered new parts to repair the pop bumper. What's
the best way to remove the pop bumper from the playfield. It looks
like the light socket is stapled to the underside. What's the best
way to remove it?
