Didn't you read? This guy DID check RGP, read the horrible reviews of
Barry White (and I'm not talking about his bad 80s disco stuff), and
went ahead and clicked buy it now for a $2200 Whitewater ANYWAY. His
reason?

Well he didn't see anything bad about Barry since 2004 (how hard did
he look?!) and decided that must have meant Barry changed his ways.

The logic here is a bit amiss, no?

1. $2200 for a whitewater?! Pretty crazy unless it's from Treasurecove
or something. $2200 for a BARRY WHITEwater? Well that's just insane.

2. "Barry has changed his ways!" - why?! Cause he didn't read anything
bad about him written after 2004? Because his feedback is good? His
feedback has ALWAYS been good! After he screws you he pays you $100 to
stay quiet. Well documented here.

The guy did a reference check, and had all the knowledge he needed to
know NOT to buy this game. It's a shame that he got ripped off but
frankly he knew better - for whatever reason he desperately wanted the
game, and he ignored all the signs that he should pass on it.
