When the score rolls over the 100,000 lamp doesn't turn on. If I tripLido-
the latch manually, it turns on. Any suggestions on where to look first
would be great. Also a way to get it to 100,000 to test if it's working
for all the players without racking up a score manually would be nice..
Thanks.
Is the latch tripping when it hits 100,00 and the lamp doesn't turn
on, or when you get 100,000 the latch does not trip?

on the 100,000 point relays in question. If the problem is with all
four players, the problem is more than likely in the Game Over or
Reset relay switches. That would also explain no "Over the Top" light
& buzzer (assumes a good #455 lamp in the lamp socket by the Over the
top relay). If one to four
Red, yellow-black and red-white wires are attached to switches that
need to be checked on the Game Over and Reset relays.
Naturally look for wires broken off at connection points to switch
blades.
Good luck. You will find it soon.
Upon waiting for an answer to my post from you about the 100,000
relay, just as american leag...posted>>>the dreaded game over relay is
where I was going. Seemed super touchy on the Capt. I had, and
wreaked lots of havoc till you finally get it dialed in.

Russ, thanks, that's right, the latch is not tripping when the score
hits 100k. Thanks americannleaguer. Is the Reset relay down near the
Game Over one? I don't remember seeing that one, but if it's labeled I'm
sure I can find it.

There is a faint hum for about ten seconds after the score hits 100k,
but no buzzer or anything that sounds like a feature.- Hide quoted text -

If you are getting a hum when you hit 100K then the Over The Top Relay
is probably tripping. If this is true, then the 9th position switch
must be fine. I would suspect the EOS switch on the 10,000 reel. The
EOS has a double make switch. For player 1, one part of this switch
connects the Gray-White wire to the Red-Yellow wire to energize the
Over The Top Relay, and this part sounds like it is working.
The other part of the switch connects the Gray-White wire to the Green
wire to energize the 1st Player 100K Relay. This is where the problem
seems to be. Make sure this switch is clean and making contact.
