Spiderman 10-point switch: bit of a pain...

Recently my BSM had developed an odd occurrence: my skill shot kept
disappearing before I had a chance to collect it.
Since this had never happened in my 4 months of ownership it was rather odd,
but it coincided with a few settings tweaks as well as a recent cleaning I
wasn't exactly sure what was at fault. I soon noticed that it only happened
when I launched and the ball triggered one of the two upper right loop
switches (it's possible to launch and not trigger either). So, I was
thinking switch problem. And then, just before I went to fix it, I noticed
one other thing... my score would go up 30 points just by the ball being
served into the lane.
So, into the service menu I went. No alerts and all were "in service". So I
checked active switches. What's this, the "10-point switch" was closed?
Pulled the glass off and sure enough that little nearly pointless leaf
switch directly below the Goblin was constantly closed. By pulling the
rubber away I could get it to work for a while, but the separation was so
minimal it would quickly revert to touching. A quick little tweak with a
pair of needle nosed pliers to open up the leafs a bit, and I'm back in
business, with skill shots to be collected and no freebie points.
