Glad to hear that Ed.  I have an order pending with you, and look
forward to completing it.

Yep -- working on these right now.  Got only about 40 or so left to go so
should be there soon.

Other than guessing passwords, I think hackers exploit a weakness in
the server.  Perhaps an unpatched vulnerability of your hosting
provider.

Yeah, I was gonna call my ISP up and ask them about this... IF my wife ever
gets off the dang phone!!!  What the hell do women talk about for so dang
long?!?!

Keep those backups close at hand.

I just tried to access the GPE website and got a very nice banner that
said the website has been hacked....then my IE went south. Can someone
contact them and let them know their website is HOSED!

Thanks
Jay

OK -- got it fixed and I'm back up and running..
The hacker deleted all my html files and inserted their own.
Luckily I had backups -- I deleted all their code and inserted mine back
in.

Strange that they got in - I had a fairly tough password for the website.
As soon as I remember how to change it... I'll put one of them real tough
random character, full paragraph passwords in there.

FYI, your site was distributing KADIR BASOL DEVASTATOR which allows
the attacker to remotely execute stuff or download files. Not fun...
