What's up gang,
Bought a really NICE P/M yesterday, brought it home fixed a bunch of
lil crap and starting my tear down, cleanup routine (though this
would almost not need it) Clean.
Now my problem, the p/f is awesome mylar has done it's job. The
mylar however, is very blackened around the edges, and has a number of
"trails" worn down and or threw. In my mind the game would look SO
AWESOME under that mylar, but I am affraid to tackle it on this game,
due to lack of availability of stickers etc. if they get ruined.
I have always used heat and not freeze spray, and not up to trying a
new method on this particular project. Last month I did a HRC and some
of the thin line cal's around the inserts lifted also this is what I
do not want here any suggestions? Thanks!

Polish it up first to see if the mylar can be saved - if not, remove it. The heat method is safer imo than freeze for insert lifting - freeze you just HAVE to have it everywhere and even if you go slow if can suddenly get away from you. Heat you have a lot better control over the temperature changes.
