Re: All Your Fresh Ideas for Pinball Here

I dig the magnetic diverters idea. Imagine how cool that would be!

Please post all your ideas that you think would be innovative,
revolutionary, cost reducing, and more entertaining for pinball. I
have many, and i've posted a few. If you would like to share yours

make a billion dollars.

Bye bye cabinet art. Make all game cabinets standard lightweight
black durable plastic with just a small backlit hole where a piece of
artwork can be dropped in. All cabs standard size, all artwork
standard too, cabinets interchangeable. No more redecalling or faded
cabs. Just buy new plastic piece and drop it in cab. Could also be
used on cabinet head too. Or, drastically reduce cabinet head size
too and stick the boards in the cabinet. Cab head big enough to hold
DMD, or LCD, and not much larger.

Put legs on hinges. They don't have to be unbolted, just unlocked
from inside and then folder up into recess in bottom of cab.

Put wheels on back bottom of cab, like Golden Tee, Silver Strike, and
Bags. This could possibly make it possible to move game by
yourself.

Elevated target which can only be hit when a ramp comes out of
playfield. Must light target to be able to light ramp. Once lit,
hurry up and shot target. It could be a drop target, revealing a ramp
behind.

That's all I have for now. Some may interest some may not. If you
have any feel free to post em!

Well, this isn't new but some things I think Stern should copy from
Capcom BBB.

1. Eliminate coin door buttons. Use flippers and start buttons to
navigate menu's. Saves cost.
2. Adjustable flipper strength. was in one release of LOTR code but
make EZ to use and standard in all games.
3. Magnetic diverters.
