Thanks for the reply Steve.
The usual cause of something like this is the EOS switch on a score
reel. When you score 10 points, the 10 point relay should energize to
adavnce a 10 point score reel and sound the chime. The 10 point relay
will stay energized until the EOS switch on a 10 point reel opens. If
that switch does not open, the relay will stay energized and you can't
score 10 points anymore.
Is that the EOS for the reel step solenoid? Not the other three switches on
the reel that have the plastic actuator?
You said the relay was previously locking on, so the 10 point reel EOS
switch probably needs adjusting. Since the 10 point relay no longer
energizes at all, I'd guess the coil burned up the last time it locked
on. Check the resistance of the coil, or try jumpering a wire to it's
terminals to see if it will fire.
I think the 10 pt relay coil is OK. It's not discolored and sometimes it
will score one time and chime once before it locks on. But, to test I jump
from where to the coil lug?
Another problem I forgot to add: The game is always in 4 player. Press start
once, you get 4 players. Nothing I could do would reset the 1-4 can play
display back to 1. I couldn't even find the unit that controlled those
lights. I was going to try to track that one down after the 10 point problem
but ran out of time.
Thanks again.

I went and serviced a neglected LC today. I was able to undo the hacks and

couldn't figger out. It's about 40 mins away, so they will have to live

it as is for a while.
The 10 point circuit aint workin right. If a 10 pointer switch is closed,
it
might score 10 and chime once, but after that nada. At one point the chime
and relay were locked on, but that stopped along the line somewhere.
None of the 10 point switches are stuck closed. The 10 pointes behind
rings
will cycle the score motor but no points or chimes. The two 50 point
rollovers will trip the 50 point relay and score motor, but no score or
chimes.
If I manually press the 10 point relay, I get points and chimes.
