I don't know you, but I'm sorry for what you are going through... I
can imagine what you are going through. I THINK I averted that
scenario, for now, at least. When we got married, we had nothing, and
bought a house. Now I make 6 figures, she hasn't "worked" in 3 years,
let alone 4 months! My schedule gets busier each year and I say (I
honestly think it too) it's "for the family". I work my ass off, she
gets to stay at home with the kids (which one goes to school and the
other goes to daycare 3/5 weekdays) and she's unhappy even though she
said she wanted to stay home...! I buy a couple pins and I get an
earful! Doesn't seem right... I've realized NOW that I have done a lot
to damage this relationship (like you said, material things aren't
everything...) and thankfully, we're working on the repair phase. I
think I was THIS close to what some of you guys have unfortunately
experienced. going on 12 yrs married, 18 together, 2 kids... hoping
for a happy ending.
