you guys are top notch in my EM book.

That's a shame...sorry it didn't work out. I hope pinball isn't a
dying market. I know that I see more and more pins at airports and
pubs and bars and such. That's why it's so very important that arcade
owners and such keep their games in tip top shape at all times. For
the person who doesn't play pinball on a regular basis, all it takes
is a half assed working pin to discourage them from playing the next
time. Then they'll tell you pinball sucks, because that's the
impression they were left with...so important. It's always
encouraging to see that people are making reproductions of playfields
and plastics. I'm sure we all have a few people that we've turned on
to pinball just by having them over to our places to play our games.
I've had a few of my friends get hooked and buy machines. They usually
tell me they had no idea pinball was this much fun. I think people
just don't know. It's like any other business or industry...you need
to sell that product to the masses and pinball is an expensive game to
most people. But I see little signs that pinball may still be kicking
enough to make a comeback. There's a Cash for Life lottery up here in
Canada running commercials right now with the theme of a pinball
machine all through it. Just have to keep sreading the word and hip
people to pinball, even if it has to be one person at a time.
Eventually, they'll get it and see how fun and cool pinball really is.
I think that the hobby part of pinball will never die...kinda like
rock and roll...keep the spirit alive and it will be.
