That's the exact one I just bought! Everyone raves about it, so I
bought it as my replacement.

I just bought an upconverting DVD player since my old Toshiba
developed a really bad sound-sync problem. I honestly see no
difference in picture quality with the new player compared to the old
one. I realize I shouldn't expect Full HD or Blu-Ray quality, but I
see no difference at all. HDMI cables too. Maybe it will make a
bigger difference on an older disc. My benchmark was Transformers,
which is a fairly new title.
