Last week I was out of town with my job, and happened to be back up in
North Michigan again. Figured I would give JeffreyZ a call one evening
during my stay and see if he knew of any places to play pin in the
area since he only lived about 45 minutes away. Unfortunately he
informed me that pin sightings were quite rare in the area, but not to
worry because I was welcome to come over for dinner, and a night of
pinball at his place. His wife cooked a great meal, and I had a great
time BS'ing and playing pinball. People like this, are truely what
make this such a great hobby!

Thanks Jeff and Dee for opening your home up to me on what seemed to
be a moments notice. I had a great time, and was glad to get the
opportunity to see your games and your beautiful home, that seems to
be lost in the deep wilderness of Walloon Lake. :)

Jimbro......
It was nothing short of a pleasure to welcome you into our home. I am
sure you would extend the same offer if the tables were turned. It is
actually quite a plzr to have someone stop by here in the lost woods,
not many get up this way. I love to share my equipment w/ someone who
can actually see and appreciate and RESPECT what it takes to gather a
lil collection as such. Having your friends over for the bowl game and
partying in the game room is not even close to having a fellow
enthusiast stop in. Friends look @ them and go, "why do you need all
these, and why would you throw that kinda $$$$$ and time @ these silly
things". A fellow enthusiast says: "how the hell did you find this
machine, what did you do to make it so nice, man that p/f musta took
days to buff like that etc.........and it makes you remember why you
did it!
I would, and do welcome "most any " enthusiast to come on over and
enjoy.
I have made many friends and a few (enemies) LOL, here and to be
honest half of which I can still not put a face on but I know would
open their home to me also.
One of my best friends in the world I made here, I bought a machine
from him one day, and over time I have developed a deep rooted
friendship w/ him that does not revolve (entirely) Lol around pins. I
have stayed in his home numerous times, my wife also. He has taken me
(us) on tours of Detroit, and taken me and my wife out on nights on
the town and great entertainment ( the wife especially liked the
Treasure chest) lol. And we would do anything for one another.
Bottom line, there are great ppl. here w/ great hearts that would
anonymously help anyone.
AND BOY HAS IT BEEN PEACEFUL HERE AS OF LATE, W/ THE ABSENCE OF A FEW
BAD APPLES!
Jimbro you too sir are one of the greats lets pay it forward!
