Re: ANNOUNCE: Bally EIGHT BALL, Stern FLIGHT 2000 Reproduction Playfields - COUNTING BEGINS

I'm in for the F2K! Can't wait.

I wish I had known a couple of months ago about the triple threat. I
bought a new BG in December and a plastics set from Marco just
*yesterday*.

Oh well. I'm very pleased that the new PF's are getting closer.

To RGP,

Several repro playfields are in the hopper for production this year, with
completed art packages finishing throughout the summer and fall. While it
is easy for us to nail a planned production run number for the "hotter
titles" we have planned, there are a couple titles we are simply dubious
about. Just don't know if they're going to be mildly in demand, or more
than we think. Well we're going to find out! In advance of these going to
production, and in advance of putting up a request for committed buyers (way
too early for that) we'd like to gauge the weather for how many we're truly
looking at when the time comes. This will help in scheduling which
playfields come in what order.

1. Bally 1977 EIGHT BALL (the Paul Faris original)

2. SternFLIGHT2000

both are being polled at the web site right now, and we're counting heads
via submission boxes set up there.

Details planned surrounding their release are also there. Also revealed is
our new lowered price for these two @ $475 !!!, and amazing bundle prices on
plastics sets @ $69 and backglasses around $150 !!

These two will also be our first shots at "Triple Threat restoration
packages" where you can get a package price on playfield+backglass+plastics
for an even lower discount - making everything but your cabinet appear NIB
!! This will be the ultimate turnaround for these machines, and will
produce amazing restorations. For the ultimate Eight Ball orFlight2000
fans, they can look forward to taking these major parts and doing some metal
polishing, new rubbers and balls, new playfield glass, and EVEN a cabinet
touchup/repaint if they are so ambitious... truly making a stunning "NIB" or
"HUO" appearance as the final result. Something cool that happens to be
possible for these machines because all three components are planned to be
available at the same time for each. Doesn't happen often!
