OK here's what I have done so far:
-Unplugged and checked all connections in the head. All were very
clean with some sort of contact grease.
-Checked stepper unit which turns freely by hand and when machine is
power up, all fuses good.
-Cleaned several, but not all leaf sw's with business card. Will go
back through once I pickup a flex stone.
Things I have noticed the:
-Relay back sw's (mounted to the bottom right side of the playfield)
sw's 2-B and 1-C don't always reset. The relay will just continue to
pound on the relay bank until I cycle the power. If I reset them by
had it is fine for a while.
-Bonus Unit (mounted to the bottom left rear of the playfield)
attempts to rotate, the coil that indexes it forward fires quickly and
is not completely (short strokes).
-Only the 10 and 100 point reels are working.
All of the disk type units springs look present and intact.
Any suggestion are appreciated.
Anyone in the Lansing Mi. area who would like to stop by and educate
me will be treated to all the beer they can drink, my wife's great
cooking and several SS's to play.
Thx to all who responded to my previous post
i'm not a tech, but i was always told no grease on contacts - don't go
by me - others please let him know if this is okay or not - i know he
didn't put it on - he said it was there - should it be removed or is
it okay. thanks ed
