On the bally Solenoid driver board i have acoupel of questions:
A- the cap just to the right of the 5V heatsink - does it need to be
Tantalum? (I chopped it out and didn't take notice) Can i replace
2.0uf with 2.2uf?
LM323K datasheet says you should always use a minimum of a 1uF Tantalum
capacitor if the regulator is 4 or more inches from the main filter
capacitor. The regulator is actually about 3" from the main filter
capacitor. So - is it really neccessary... nah.
But, this applies to C29. C24 is a 2.2uF axial electrolytic by design.
B- What do most people use for the 3/16Amp fuse? I can't find an exact
replacement.
The AGX-3/16 are still made but a real bugger to supply. Seems Bussman
doesn't make many of them.
See here for alternatives

Not pretty but it does work.
