I don't know the size of the cutouts.
However if you can tell us what type of machine and what type of Bill
Acceptor you are trying to install we can probably tell you if it will
fit or not.

Besure to get one that is set up for 110-115v. The 24v Bill Acceptors
are for vending machines and pins don't have a source for the 24v.

I have in my machines MEI Mars VN 2500 Series acceptors in my
pinballs. These have the Upstackers and install into the lower hole in
my pinball coindoors.

You will need to have the upstacker/downstacker installed for it to
work. The acceptor can tell if it is attached or not and if not
attached it disables the unit.

It depends on the coin door you have on the machine. Some doors had
two cutouts so you could use upstacker or downstacker bill acceptors.
Yet some other doors only had a cutout at the bottom and others had a
cutout at the top.

Small cutout at top = downstacker

Small cutout at bottom = upstacker

Large cutout = stackerless

Most games were wired to Mars bill acceptor standards (9 pin
connector).

Thank you for replying to thread.  One more thing, because "small" and
"large" are subjective terms, do you happen to know the dimensions of
"small" and "large" cutouts on the door?    Or, does the manual
describe which size cutout the coin door has?  Thanks again.- Hide quoted text -

the make and model number is a Mars AE-2400 series upstacker. The
games I want to install into are Super Mario Bros., Congo, Starship
Troopers, Fish Tales, WhoDunnit, Earthshaker, Frankenstein, NBAFB, and
Mata Hari.
