I'm working on a Wizard that is missing a few of the machine thread screws

the local (good) hardware store and came up empty. They have #4-40 (too
small) and #6-32 (too big, wrong thread pitch). So what are these?

McMaster Carr has #5-40 screws, and I'm thinking these might be right. The
measurements show the screw thread diameter to be .125", which matches a
screw I pulled from a switch assembly. They show #4 and #6 being slightly
smaller and larger, respectively.

The 1976 Bally Parts Book isn't much help, as it just says to order hardware
like screws and nuts by specifying the game, assembly, and what it's used
for, and I guess the factory figures out from there what to send you. I
did find a possible clue on the page that shows the slingshot switch
assembly, where it calls for the screws to be p/n MS-540-12-110. Depending
on how Bally came up with part numbers, that could be a "Machine Screw - #5
x 40" plus whatever the -12-110 part translates to (length maybe).

Hi Dave,
I'm not sure what switch you're talking about. If you mean the
small, Cherry Microswitches, then Terry at Pinball Life has them.
They are #2-56 by 1/2" or 7/16" in length. He has a pretty good
selection, so take a look and I think you'll find something there.
