Standard practice in many industires to repair a trace is to solder a
small wire on the board to take the place of the trace. I have seen a
number of finished boards in audio products from the manufacture with
a wire soldered on the board or even from one side through a little
hole to the other - becuase something had to be modified in production
- it's fairly common to see.
