Just a quick report here,
I read about this place on the group here a while back, and made a
trip down with my friend. A week or so ago.
I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed my experience, with the exception
of a bunch of kids running in and out constantly, but I guess I should
over look that - small price to pay for some pinball machines in the
wild!
Pardon my memory, I hope I get them all. I noticed:
Cirqus Voltaire
Medieval Madness
Monster Bash
Revenge From Mars (wasn't working)
Family Guy
Spider Man
Nascar
Ripley's Believe It Or Not
Lord Of The Rings
The only one I had ever played prior to this was RFM and LOTR. I
really got into Cirquis, Medieval (LOVED the castle towers shaking and
falling!), and Family. Loved Stewie's little machine, but it felt a
little "light" - the ball kept flying around on me. Still damn cool
though. I did like Ripley's - a lot to do - but didn't like the voice
work. Kind of generic, and didn't like the Jamaican guy's voice. But
certainly enough entertaining things in the game! I didn't like
Spider Man - felt a little too open to me. Nascar I didn't play, but
my friend loved it. Loved the part where the ball spun around the
playfield twice! Voice work on Monster Bash was cool, but hard to
hear in the noise of the Arcade .
Noticed an original Mr. Do, too! Cool (Yeah I know, it's a pinball
group, but was great to see that).
I could have done with out the Dance Dance revolution a little way's
down from the machines, all that floor banging threw off my (already
bad) gameplay.
Unfortunately, just had dinner and didn't get to try the
cheesesteaks. Next time!
All of the pins have been moved to the back room. You shouldn't have
any complaints now.

I too am planning to make a trip up there soon. It's been a couple
years, and I'm itching to play a GOOD SHAPE Fgy & Spidey, and the CV,
MM, & LOTR there never disappointed. I'm surprised there's not any
older game there (I've seen Funhouse, and BK2K in the past) - oh and
Flash too. But, that's not a big deal to me. I saw "SSB" aka
Sonicmario posting some pretty impressive scores on youtube, and I
feel the need to come and take a shot at it. Having GC on Spidey at
the shore mall down by me that is set very easy and nobody else ever
scores over 200 mil is not as satisfying.
Can somebody tell me is the middle post there on Spidey at 8OTB? And,
how tight are the tilts there?
