Re: High speed display question/information

If you can, you may want to move Player 1 to player 2 to make sure there are
no other driver issues before you buy a PCB and Tube.

I am buying a Williams High speed that is missing the top right
display. I have not owned a system 11 game before but have had
about
15 90's version DMD games.

My question is, is this part readily available? IS it the same
display on all williams games from 86-90 or were there some changes
in
there. How much would I expect to pay for one alpha/numeric
display?

Thanks Crew

I just had to replace the same dispay on my High Speed. Terry at
www.pinballlife.comhasjust the glass in stock again for $39. They
are not much cheaper on ebay, when you can find them.

From his description, he's going to need more than just the glass, he's
going to need the glass + PCB. That's not super easy to find, but not
made of unobtainium, either.

I believe any of the 7 digit alpha/numeric Williams displays from
that
era will work.

No. Williams was really d*cking around with the displays at that
point.
Pretty much anything that's JUST original system 11 will work. System
11A went to all four displays mounted on a single board.

His easiest bet is to just jump to a PinScore/PinLED display since he's
missing a board.

Oops, you're right, he did say the display was missing. I just checked
ebay and there is one listed for sale. Condition unknown.

Just to make sure, If the display is gone I need a display and a PCB
or is the PCB just the green part behind the display. All of the
other Boards work so I don't believe I need any other parts? Is the
part for 39.00 all I need from Bay area amusements?
