Fed Ex blows elephant phallus. They are the most worthless company on

a whole group of people... f- it. I would rather ship my goods USPS
by way of Iraq than use Fed Ex EVER AGAIN.

They sub contract their routes out to 'franchised' drivers, kind of
like a self employment thing. They do this so they are not bound by
union regulations or forced by local laws to provide benefits. Now,
that's a pretty good gig for everybody, but they lose touch of what
the drivers are doing, and thus cannot provide adequate customer
service.

I have had numerous issues with Fed Ex, my driver not stopping at my
business even to leave a tag. When I know I am getting a package Fed
Ex, the day it is expected, I will turn on my open sign and throw my
doors open at 8am (we don't open until noon), in hopes that the driver
will see me, but he never does. I end up having to go to the customer
counter (a half hour drive not including Baltimore traffic) every
time. I complain every time, and have torn many a new anus in
customer 'service' at Fed Ex.

The latest one was when I had a Cyclone ramp shipped. I ordered and
paid for the ramp on the 24th of Sept. Oct 11, no ramp. So I email
the seller... he says he sent it out on the 26th. I get the tracking
number, and it had been sitting at the customer counter for almost 2
weeks, with no notification! Turns out they can't find my address.
Hmm... I have a Fed Ex account, they can find me when I call for
pickup, they can find me when they want to send a bill! I also have
the largest building on my block, which is off oif a major thorofare.
Called cust. service, they said the driver could not find me, so I
gave directions, and still didn't get my package! The package made
its way from Whitemarsh MD, to Harrisburg PA (why I don't know), back
to Whitemarsh, and then was finally returned to sender. I did get my
ramp, after the seller sent it USPS. Over the course of this fiasco,
I think I talked to everybody at Fed Ex, including the janitor.

I sent a complaint letter to corporate in Tennessee 3 ways... First
Class mail, Express Mail, and Fed Ex. Needless to say, when I called
for pickup, Fed Ex came RIGHT OUT and took my letter. I had no
problem telling the guy how much of a piece of *** his boss and his
company was. He promply left.

People who ship and care about their products/customers SHOULD NEVER
SHIP FED EX!!!

Have a nice day,

Just wanted to warn others about Fed Ex shipping insurance policy, in
short it sucks!!

I had a $300. backglass shipped from Texas by Fed Ex insured. Well it
got to my house with a dent and hole in the box the size of a sledge
hammer. Naturally the brand new backglass was shattered. Well after 7
days of waiting Fed Ex told me my claim was denied. That all they pay
on "Limited" quantity shipped goods is $100. According to customer
support Fed Ex classifies anything glass as Limited quantity no matter
what the stated value of the product is.
So next time you ship read the fine print. And for Gods sake don't use
Fed ex.- Hide quoted text -

The package was insured for an estimated value of $300.

Gerry, Who did you deal with?
I was planning to call Customer Service again tomorrow to argue with
them more. It looks like False Representation if you ask me. The
Claims specialist I spoke with told me the person shipping the package
should have known that they only insure glass for $100. The Fed Ex
agents are not responsible for telling the sender the limit is $100.
even if they have a declared value of $300. BS... So we shipped
thinking we had $300. insurance on the glass.
Like Mike I will never use them again.
Hell, USPS isn't much different. I had something shipped by them
priority mail on Oct. 11th. It arrived at my house on Nov. 2nd. At
least it was in one piece..
