BoP got KISSed

All,
I felt like "House" when I got a call today. It seems that BoP was
kicking an extra ball into the shooter lane now and again.
Without hesitation I said, "It's most probably a loose wire."
The guy replied, "No, I checked the wires." Then he continued, "One if
the switches under the trough doesn't work in switch test. Should I
put the new diode on the new switch before or after I replace the
switch?"
Again without hesitation I answered, "It's most probably a loose
wire."
The guy insisted, "I can't find a loose wire."
Me, "It's a loose wire. Don't just look, feel for a loose wire."
The guy huffed and agreed to check the wires again. Two minutes later,
I got another phone call from the same guy. The guy admitted, "One of
the two wires in the double-wire on that switch came out of the
connector when I checked it." "Do I need the connector?", he had only
called back to ask.
I answered, "No, you can just solder both of the wires together than
solder them both to the switch lug that they came off of."
You know, it's nice to be right for once.
