Re: Gottlieb Wipe Out flash lamps not working

Yes, you are right. After reading the schematics and look at the playfield
I think I have found my problem. There are 3 resistor circuits that control
the flash lamps. A set of 6 resistors on a PCB that controls the lamps
(44s) in the bop bumpers. I reflowed the solder joints and rebuilt a couple
traces and that cicuit works fine now. A single resistor in the backbox
insert controls 6 flash bulbs (67s) in the backbox. This works fine.
Another single resistor (R1) under the playfield is wired to the 6 flash
lamps on the playfield. The DMM shows this as open so I have found my bad
resistor! I'll pick one up at Frys tomorrow and I shoudl be good to go.
These schematics are starting to make sense :)

Thanks for your help,
John
