Could just be flaky switches. I had an AFM and switches worked in
test but 1 out of 4 loop shots didn't register. Sometimes it's best
to replace those switches with new ones especially on great games like
White water where every shot is important. Good luck with your fix.

I picked up a nice WH2O recently, great game. I noticed that sometimes
the left loop shot (Boulder Garden) doesn't register, happens maybe
half the time I make the shot. Doesn't seem to be related to how fast
the ball goes, but not sure about that. The reverse shot (Boomerang
Bend) seems to work, but then again I only made that shot a few
times:). From what I see there are two rollover switches in the loop,
right one should be the one in question. Both work in the test mode
(with PF raised), and seem to be pretty sensitive too, light touch on
the wire registers the switch. Could it be a bad diode on the switch?
Are there optos used for the loop? Anything else I should check? It's
running L-4 ROM, if that makes a difference. Thanks.
