Probably BR2 is the reset cause. Okay now with that said... Anyone notice
that we seem to have way more bridge failures on
wms games? In All the old Ballys I've seen I think I've had to change two
or three bad bridges!
Here's my Bet: Removal of the de-spiking diode from the coil(s) to a remote
location may not have been such a good idea.
(At least on Early SS pins whenever you changed the coil, you always got a
nice fresh diode! )
I'm thinking design flaw.... or that the diode that most folks don't change
due to bad coils any longer, maybe should bechanged; and
because of this trend the bridge is probably getting a Back EMF due to a
bad/open diode or because the diode is further
from the source. Seems like too many BR2 problems on WPC IMO.

Put your new stuff in one at a time ( bridge rectifier, capactior, jumper
mods over the traces between BR2 and the it's new cap, Q1 voltage
regulator ) and see what cures it, or put all the parts in at once and if
that cures it live happily ever after. LTG :)
