I remember those days. Unfortunately I didn't have 4x4 things to play with,
only cars. Wish I had pictures of some of them now. As far as I know, one of
them is still up in the woods sticking out the side of a hill. It was a
great time, memories are priceless. LTG :)

Sorry for the OT post, but had to share this " Here's your Sign"
moment
http://usergallery.myhomegameroom.com/gallery/album304
My neighbor, a newly licsensed driver at the age of 16, decided to
take his mom's Jeep Cherokee 4 wheelin' because he thought it would be
a fun thing to do on a Thursday night. Now Friday at 5pm, he rings my
doorbell, and asks if I can pull him out as its been stuck since the
day before. I said sure!, No problem since I have a better than
average 4wd truck.
We begin this trek and venture deep into the woods and swamp, close to
one and a half miles off the road. I drove through the first soft
spot easy, but the second one hit really hard as it could be felt
through the truck. I then hit the thrid soft spot, and became stuck
myself. I somehow managed to knock it out of 4wd, and could not get
back into 4wheel lock. So being in 2wd, my truck was sunk, up to the
bumpers and it wasnt going anywhere. The only way out was with a
ratcheting come-along and chains. So I finally got out myself around
9pm in the dark with the help of 4 other neighbors on our street.
Meanwhile, walking back to look at his stuck Jeep, the obstacles kept
getting bigger, deeper, and more insane. There would have been no way
for me to get back any further than I did. So that a "Here's My Sign"
award.
After getting a backhoe and several more hours later, his Jeep, or
what was left of it, was out and on its way back home.
Taking pictures this morning of all the carnage, Vince's only words to
me was as follows..
Please don't tell my Dad.
LOL.. Somehow, I don't think I will have to say a word! Here's your
sign Vince ;-)
