It all started with the KISS pf I got at the Kalamazoo show this
spring. I was just gonna swap it out, no biggee.
But then I decided the cabinet was gonna look like crap after that, so
new stencils were on the way.
Now I have to pull everything outta the cabinet and backbox and clean
all of THAT stuff...
Might as well pick up a new backglass, I wont have to worry about it
for another 30 years.
And no sense using old flipper buttons on a freshly repainted cabinet.
Might as well order the bumper skirts, new bumper caps, targets and
everything else.
Damn that got expensive fast.
Its not just me, right??
Don
It is just you...
All I can say is put your machine back together as quickly as
possible. Then box up all the cleaning, painting, refurbishing
supplies/equipment you have unknowingly accumulated since being
smitten and put it out by the curb on trash day. I mean
everything!!! Buffer, clamps, brushes, sand paper, wax, degreaser,
freeze spray, paint, etc...and by god get rid of the Novus
first...Novus is the toughest to kick. Dont even touch the Novus
bottle with your bare hands as it will command your very soul not to
throw it out but don't listen to it Frodo!...It must be the firstest
to go precious....
Then go in your house and dont come out until the cursed tools of your
newfound addiction are on their way to the nearest landfill.
Finally sell your computer and abandon the internet...there is no help
nor cure for you here within the hollow pages of RGP. Only pain and
agony lives here amongst the so called "Hobbiests". We will only drag
you into the fold with us. Misery is a lonely place and we needs
company. Step in to the light....step into the light!!!!
Seriously though....there is no cure but cold turkey.
Steve (or his alter ego maybe)
