I use a Garmin 2720. the reason I chose the Garmin is because thats
what the military uses. I bought this one about 2 years ago and have
over 1K logged on it and I am NOT a truck driver. I work for coinstar
as a service tech and usually hit about 8 stops a day. In the mourning
I punch in all of my stops , hit auto route and away I go. I am so
pleases with this unit that I gave it to my wife for around town and
bought myself the new 2730. By one with a big hard drive and maps that
are preloaded. Even if you are looking for a place ( say walmart ) and
dont have an address but do gave a store #, you can search by city and
find the one closest one to your destination. It works like a phone
book and give you the stores by address and #.
